Our customer is an international company that produces on a continuous cycle in different plants. The company board decided to use CRM to provide a tool to support sales forecasts and support production planning with updated data.
A customised view has been implemented within SAP Sales Cloud and allows sales people to:
- View all possible productions on an interactive grid
- Edit the grid by entering forecast production quantities
- View forecasts in their own dashboard
- Share forecasts with the Key Account Manager
- Allow the Key Account Manager to confirm or modify the forecasts
- Provide updated forecasts to production schedulers.
- Reduction in e-mail traffic
- Alignment of tools and methodologies used by sales people
- Increased sales effectiveness and efficiency
- Greater coordination between sales and production
- Reduction in time to-market and material stock.
