The Need

Our customer is an international company that produces on a continuous cycle in different plants. The company board decided to use CRM to provide a tool to support sales forecasts and support production planning with updated data.

The Solution

A customised view has been implemented within SAP Sales Cloud and allows sales people to:

  • View all possible productions on an interactive grid
  • Edit the grid by entering forecast production quantities
  • View forecasts in their own dashboard
  • Share forecasts with the Key Account Manager
  • Allow the Key Account Manager to confirm or modify the forecasts
  • Provide updated forecasts to production schedulers.
